FAQ

What do I need to know in order to regain access to my wallet? What does the probability of recovery depend on?
To recover a lost password, it is essential to have information about what the password could have been—unless the password used was very simple, in which case it might be reconstructed. Otherwise, recovery will be impossible. For this reason, we need you to send us as much information as possible about how you generate your passwords, such as whether you use special characters, possible password examples, words, or strategies you use when creating passwords. The more of this information we have, the greater the chances of recovering access to your funds. To help you with this step, we’ve developed a questionnaire that we will help you complete once you get in touch with us.

Is it possible to recover wallets from a physically damaged device?
Yes, it is possible to recover the wallet file, seed, or private key from a damaged device in many cases. Devices such as mobile phones, hard drives, or other types of memory that are no longer functioning can undergo various specialized processes to recover part or all of the information stored on them. In such cases, we will need to have access to the device in question.

Pricing & Quotation

What is the cost of the service?
We don’t have a fixed price. Depending on the type of work and the information required, we will provide a quote. Some wallets and coins are common, while others require custom development to recover the password. The time required for processing, the information you provide, and whether hardware-level recovery is needed are the most important factors when estimating the cost.

Is the consultation free? Do I need to pay upfront?
Consultations are always free. The service is only charged if the recovery is successful—otherwise, there is no cost at all.

Do I need a minimum amount in my wallet to recover the funds?
Technically, recovery is independent of the wallet’s balance, so we will be able to assist you regardless of the amount.

Security

Is this service secure?
All devices used to process wallets are physically located at our facility and are offline. We do not outsource computing to companies like Amazon or Google.

Is it necessary to send the full wallet file?
In most cases, yes—except for wallets like Bitcoin-Core or Bitcoin-QT, where it is possible to extract only a portion of the file. This allows us to work on regaining access without having access to your funds.

Is it possible to sign a legal contract?
Yes, it is possible to sign a contract if the client requests it.

Do you have an office?
Yes, we have an office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is also possible for us to travel if the client requires it.
